Money Advice Team Leader

Hours:           35 hours per week

Salary:           Scale 23-25 (£26,999- £28,785 p.a.)

Based within the Money Advice Team, you will play a key role in ensuring our money advice services are delivered to high quality standards with a strong focus on customer service. You will lead, motivate and support staff and volunteers to deliver quality services, helping the team to achieve agreed targets and objectives.

You will have experience of debt advice work, line managing staff and/ or volunteers and overseeing day to day service delivery.

Excellent organisation and communication skills are essential for this role, along with a solution focused approach and an understanding of the importance of motivating individuals to succeed.

Hours:           35 hours per week

Salary:           Trainee salary:  £19,554 – £21,589 p.a. (moving to qualified salary after successful completion of training & probation period)

                         Qualified salary: £24,313- £26,317 p.a.

This opportunity is open to applications from qualified and experienced advisers and from motivated candidates looking for a training opportunity in the advice sector.

As a Welfare Rights Caseworker/Trainee you will join our established advice team working alongside staff and volunteers. You will play a key role in ensuring our clients receive good quality benefits advice, via a range of communication channels including face to face, telephone and digital.

You should be well organised, with the ability to work independently. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential as is the ability to listen, engage and empathise with potentially vulnerable clients.

This opportunity is open to applications from qualified advisers and candidates looking for a training opportunity in the advice sector.  If you are already volunteering as an adviser, or have related employment experience, we’re offering training and support to enable the right candidate to complete the Certificate in Generalist Advice Work and achieve full competence in 6-12 months.

Money Advice Team Client Support Assistant

Hours:           21 hours per week

Salary:           Scale points 12-17 (£21,589-£23,836 p.a.) pro rata

Based within our established Money Advice Team you will play a key role providing support to our clients and empowering them to take action. You will be the first point of contact, assist clients with follow up actions and provide support for our casework team.

You will have experience of working with a wide range of clients and assisting them to achieve the best outcome for their circumstances.

Flexibility and a positive approach to work are important attributes required for this role. Strong verbal communication skills are essential as is the ability to listen, engage and empathise with potentially vulnerable clients.
